Visual automation for Deriv users

Deriv Binary Bot Builder: a practical no-code guide

Build automated trading logic with visual blocks, connect through Deriv's current OAuth flow, switch between supported demo and real Options accounts, and monitor every run from one workspace.

Independent software: Synthetic Markets is not owned or operated by Deriv. Start with a demo account and never trade money you cannot afford to lose.

What is the Synthetic Markets Binary Bot?

It is a browser-based visual strategy builder for Deriv Options accounts. Instead of writing code, you connect blocks that define a market, contract, entry rule, stake, risk controls, and what happens after a contract closes.

Visual strategy blocks

Combine trade definitions, market data, indicators, conditions, variables, notifications, and money-management logic in a reusable workspace.

Current Deriv connection

Sign in through Deriv OAuth. The application uses Deriv's current API for account information, market data, proposals, purchases, and contract updates.

Demo-first testing

Choose a supported demo account, validate how your blocks behave, and review the summary and log before considering any real-money use.

Risk controls

Configure stake rules and available stop conditions. Controls can limit behavior, but they cannot remove market risk or guarantee execution.

Account switching

Move between eligible accounts returned by Deriv without repeating the full login process while the authorized session remains valid.

Save and reuse

Download strategy files, load saved XML or JSON bots, and refine your setup as you learn from demo results.

How to build your first Deriv bot

Use this workflow to reduce avoidable mistakes. A successful demo run is evidence that the blocks executed—not proof that a strategy will remain profitable.

  1. Open the builder and sign in

Select Log in, authenticate on Deriv, approve the requested trading permission, and return to the builder. Never paste your Deriv password into the bot.

  2. Select a demo Options account

Use the account menu in the top-right corner. Confirm that the account is marked as virtual/demo before running a new strategy.

  3. Define the trade

Choose the market, symbol, trade type, duration, currency, and starting stake. Availability depends on the account and the contracts currently offered by Deriv.

  4. Create the purchase condition

Use market-data or indicator blocks to decide when the bot may purchase. Keep the first version simple so that each decision is easy to inspect.

  5. Add limits before running

Set an affordable stake and available stop conditions. Avoid assuming that a martingale or stake-recovery sequence can eliminate losses.

  6. Run, monitor, and review

Watch the summary and log panels. Stop the bot if its behavior differs from your intended rules, then adjust and retest on demo.

Responsible use matters more than the strategy

No bot guarantees profit. Derivatives can produce rapid losses. Automation can repeat mistakes faster, and network interruptions, price movement, contract availability, or configuration errors may affect results.

Use money limits

Decide your maximum affordable loss before starting. Do not increase the limit while trying to recover a losing run.

Understand every block

Do not run an imported bot until you have reviewed its trade type, stake progression, stopping rules, and repeat behavior.

Keep control

Monitor active sessions and stop unattended automation. Review Deriv statements as the authoritative record of completed transactions.

Read the full risk disclosure before considering real-money trading.

Frequently asked questions

Is this bot owned by Deriv?

No. Synthetic Markets is an independent third-party software provider. Deriv provides the broker account and API used after you authorize the application.

Can the bot guarantee profitable trades?

No. Neither a strategy, indicator, historical result, nor money-management sequence can guarantee future profit.

Should I begin with a demo account?

Yes. Demo use lets you verify the structure and behavior of your blocks without risking deposited funds, although demo results do not predict real results.

Does the application ask for my Deriv password?

No. Login occurs on Deriv's website through OAuth. Do not share your Deriv password with Synthetic Markets or enter it into an imported bot.

Why might a market or contract be unavailable?

Symbols and contract types depend on your account, jurisdiction, trading availability, and the contracts returned by Deriv at that time.

Ready to test a visual strategy?

Open the builder, select a demo account, and begin with a small, understandable set of blocks.
